An easy and fast recipe for 6 people

Ingredients :

  • A can of sweet concentrated milk
  • A same measure of regular milk
  • 3 big eggs
  • Vanilla bean
  • 100 gr of sugar for the caramel

The caramel : pour the sugar in a small saucepan, with a little bit of water. You don’t need to stir, just shake the saucepan a bit. Then pour the caramel in the 6 small molds around the edges.

The flan :

Preheat your oven to 180 ° C

In a blender / mixer, pour the eggs, condensed milk and regular milk + vanilla flavor. Mix for 30 seconds and pour the preparation into your caramelized mold.

Cooking in a double boiler:

Place your mold/pan in another larger pan and pour the boiling water into the large pan (up to three-quarters)

Bake your flan in the bain-marie for about 50 to 60 minutes (depending on your oven and the size of your pan).

Leave to set in the fridge for a few hours or, preferably, overnight before tasting.

To unmold, pass a knife around the edges of the mold, place a plate and turn everything over.
